  <summary><strong>DAT-100: Login failed – The credentials provided are invalid</strong></summary>

**When does this error occur?**

This error occurs when Zluri fails to connect to Datadog due to invalid or expired credentials. This can include an incorrect **hostUrl**, **API Key**, or **Application Key**.

**How to resolve:**

* **Check your credentials carefully:**
  * Verify that the **hostUrl** corresponds to your Datadog region (for example, `https://api.datadoghq.com` for US, `https://api.datadoghq.eu` for EU, etc.).
  * Confirm that the **API Key** and **Application Key** are correct and active.
* **If the error occurs during sync:**
  * Your credentials may have expired or been revoked.
  * Generate new API and Application Keys in Datadog.
  * Reconnect the integration in Zluri using the updated credentials.

  <summary><strong>Additional Notes</strong></summary>

\* Always copy and paste the **API Key**, **Application Key**, and **Host URL** directly from Datadog to avoid typos or missing characters.

* Verify that the keys are still active in your Datadog account and have not been changed or revoked.
* If the issue persists, check for region mismatches or permission issues related to the Application Key scope.
