Forcefully terminates an active synchronization session. Use this endpoint when you need to abandon a sync due to errors, incorrect data, or to start a fresh sync. This action is irreversible.

When to Use

• Data quality issues discovered mid-sync
• Need to restart with corrected data
• Configuration changes require a fresh start

Limitations

• Only syncs with status started can be aborted
• Completed or failed syncs cannot be terminated
• Any uploaded data is permanently discarded
