Overview
Access Management controls how an organization grants, modifies, and revokes access to applications, systems, and data.
Organizations use many SaaS and AI applications, each with its own user accounts and permission models. As employees join, change roles or departments, and leave the organization, access requirements change continuously. Without centralized control, access updates are handled inconsistently across systems.
Access Management supports the following access lifecycle actions:
- Provision access when employees join
- Update access when roles or departments change
- Revoke access when employees leave
These actions ensure that access remains aligned with the user’s current role and status throughout their time in the organization.
A structured access model reduces manual access tasks and limits over-privileged accounts. Instead of managing access separately in each application, access changes are handled in a consistent and repeatable way across connected systems.
Access Management enforces access policies and records all access changes. These records show when access gets granted or revoked and support internal reviews and audits without manual tracking.
