Integration steps

Create an Egnyte API key and secret

1. Log in to your Egnyte developer account.

2. Navigate to My Account → Applications → Create a New Application.

3. Enter a name, and describe the purpose of the application. Fill out the other fields as follows:

   • Type: Internal Application
   • Egnyte domain: Look at the URL in your browser. Your Egnyte domain is part of the URL format https://my-domain.egnyte.com, where my-domain is your specific domain name.
   • Registered OAuth Redirect URI: Leave blank

   

   📘

   Obtaining an API key from Egnyte might take from a few hours to one business day.

Copy API key

1. Navigate to My Account → Keys.
2. Copy and securely store the API key (aka Client ID) and API token (aka Client Secret or Access Token).

Connect the Egnyte instance in Zluri

1. Open the Integrations Catalog, search for “egnyte”, and click ➕ Connect.

   

2. Click Continue here. You can click the down-arrow button towards the right of a scope to find out what it does.

   

3. Enter your Egnyte domain, username, and password.

4. Enter the previously generated API key and API token in the Client ID and Client Secret fields respectively, then click Connect.

   

5. Give the connection a name and description, and you’re ready to go!
