Prerequisites

• Organization owner or Organization administrator privileges in Zulip
• Zulip Standard or Plus subscription

Integration steps

Obtain Zulip bot’s API key and email address

1. Log in to your Zulip account.

2. Click the ⚙️ Main menu icon in the top-right corner and select Personal settings.

   

3. On the left, click Bots and click Active bots.

4. Copy and securely store the bot’s email and API key.

   

Locate your Zulip subdomain

Go to your Zulip dashboard and look at the URL in your browser’s address bar. The part before “zulipchat” is your subdomain (umberellacorp in this case).

Connect the Zulip instance in Zluri

1. Open the Integrations Catalog, search “Zulip”, and click ➕ Connect.

   

2. Click Connect it myself. You can click the down-arrow button towards the right of a scope to learn what it does.

   

3. Enter the bot’s email address in the Username field, the bot’s API key, and Subdomain here.

   

4. Click Connect, give the connection a name and description, and you’re ready to go!
