Fix common CrowdStrike Falcon integration errors

This page lists common errors and known issues encountered while integrating CrowdStrike Falcon with Zluri, and instructions on how to fix them.

CRO-100-A: Login failed: The credentials provided are invalid. Please check your Client ID and Client Secret and try again

This error occurs while connecting CrowdStrike Falcon to Zluri with an invalid Client ID and/or Client Secret. To fix this:

  • Carefully follow the instructions for Client ID and Client Secret generation in the integration document.
  • Copy the Client ID and Client Secret as-is while entering them in Zluri and ensure there are no missing characters.

Afterwards, try to connect CrowdStrike Falcon to Zluri again.

CRO-100-B: The credentials used for connecting this integration have expired or been revoked

This error occurs if the Client ID and Client Secret used to connect CrowdStrike Falcon to Zluri have expired or been revoked.

To fix this, create a new set of Client ID and Client Secret by following the instructions in the integration document and try to reconnect the integration.

CRO-101-A: The user attempting to connect the integration lacks the necessary permissions. Please check your account privileges

This error occurs when the CrowdStrike Falcon user does not have the necessary privileges to connect to Zluri.

To resolve this error, make sure the user has Administrator privileges in CrowdStrike Falcon, and try to connect again.

CRO-101-B: The permissions associated with the user are modified or revoked. Please ensure that the user has the right permissions before reconnecting the integration

This error occurs when the CrowdStrike Falcon user who connected to Zluri has lost Admin privileges.

To resolve this error, make sure the user has Administrator privileges in CrowdStrike Falcon, and reconnect the integration.

CRO-102-A: The baseUrl provided was invalid or incorrect. Please make sure to reconnect with a correct and valid baseUrl

This error occurs if CrowdStrike Falcon’s Base URL entered while connecting to Zluri is incorrect. To fix this:

  • Carefully follow the instructions in the Obtain the base URL section of the integration document.
  • Enter the Base URL as-is while entering it in Zluri and ensure there are no missing characters.

Afterwards, try to connect CrowdStrike Falcon to Zluri again.

CRO-102-B: The integration disconnected because the previous baseUrl is changed or inactive. Please verify the baseUrl and try again

This error occurs if the CrowdStrike Falcon Base URL used to connect to Zluri has changed or been deactivated. To fix this:

  • Carefully follow the instructions in the Obtain the base URL section of the integration document.
  • Enter the Base URL as-is while entering it in Zluri and ensure there are no missing characters.

Afterwards, try to connect CrowdStrike Falcon to Zluri again.
