Fix common BILL Spend & Expense integration errors

This page lists common errors and known issues encountered while integrating BILL with Zluri, and instructions on how to fix them.

BLS-100-A: The API token used to connect the integration is invalid. Please ensure that you use the right API key to connect the integration

This error occurs while connecting BILL to Zluri with an invalid API token. To fix this:

  • Carefully follow the instructions to create a BILL API token.
  • Copy the API token as-is while entering it in Zluri and ensure there are no missing characters.

Afterwards, try to connect BILL to Zluri again.


BLS-100-B: The API token used for this integration has expired or been revoked. Please ensure that you use the right API key before reconnecting the integration

This error occurs if the API token used to connect BILL to Zluri has expired or been revoked.

To fix this, follow the create a BILL API token section in the integration document, then reconnect the integration.


BLS-101-A: User does not have the required permissions to connect the integration. Please ensure that you have the required permissions to connect the integration

This error occurs when the BILL user does not have the necessary privileges to connect to Zluri.

To resolve this error, make sure the user has Admin privileges in BILL, and try to connect again.


BLS-101-B: User permissions have been revoked or expired. Please ensure that you have the required permissions before reconnecting the integration

This error occurs when the BILL user who connected to Zluri has lost Admin privileges.

To resolve this error, make sure the user has Admin privileges in BILL, and reconnect the integration.
