Troubleshooting
This page contains a list of common errors and known issues encountered while integrating Port with Zluri, and instructions on how to fix them.
If your issue isn’t mentioned here, feel free to submit a ticket or contact us directly at [email protected].
PRT-100-A: The Client ID and Client secret used are incorrect
This error occurs while connecting Port to Zluri with incorrect Client ID or Client Secret credentials.
To resolve this error:
-
Ensure you are generating the Client ID and Client Secret correctly in Port:
- Go to Port → Settings → Credentials
- Click Create new credentials or Generate API credentials
- Copy both the Client ID and Client Secret immediately
- Store them securely as the Client Secret won't be shown again
-
Verify that you are copying the credentials correctly:
- Copy the entire Client ID and Client Secret without any extra spaces or characters
- Ensure no characters are missing from the beginning or end
- Both credentials should be pasted exactly as generated
- Double-check that you're not mixing up the Client ID and Client Secret fields
After generating new credentials, try to connect the integration again.
PRT-100-B: The Client ID and Client secret used earlier is expired or removed
This error occurs when the Client ID and Client Secret used to connect Port to Zluri have expired or been removed.
Common causes include:
- The credentials were manually deleted from Port settings
- The user who created the credentials was deactivated
- Credential rotation policies caused the credentials to expire
- Admin settings changed to revoke existing credentials
To resolve this error:
- Go to Port → Settings → Credentials
- Check if your existing credentials are still listed and active
- If the credentials are missing or inactive, create new credentials:
- Click Create new credentials
- Copy both the Client ID and Client Secret
- Store them securely
- Use the new credentials to reconnect the integration in Zluri
PRT-101-A: The Client ID and Client secret used does not have the required permissions to connect the integration
This error occurs when the Port credentials do not have the necessary permissions to access required resources.
To resolve this error, ensure the credentials have access to:
- User management permissions to read user data
- Audit log access for activity monitoring
- API access with appropriate scope
Verify that:
- The user who created the credentials has sufficient permissions in Port
- The credentials were created with the correct scope and permissions
- No permission restrictions are blocking API access
- The Port account plan includes the necessary API features
If needed, regenerate the credentials with a user that has Admin or Owner privileges in Port.
PRT-101-B: The Client ID and Client secret used to connect got revoked/expired
This error occurs when the Port credentials that connected to Zluri have lost the required permissions or been revoked.
To resolve this error:
-
Verify the original credentials still have appropriate permissions:
- Check if the user who created them still has admin access
- Ensure the credentials haven't been restricted or downgraded
- Confirm API access permissions are still intact
-
If permissions have been revoked:
- Restore the necessary permissions to the original credentials, or
- Create new credentials with a user that has sufficient permissions
- Reconnect the integration using the updated or new credentials
PRT-102-A: Client Id not found
This error occurs when the provided Client ID cannot be found in Port's system.
To resolve this error:
-
Verify that you are using the correct Client ID:
- Double-check the Client ID in your Port credentials settings
- Ensure you're copying the complete Client ID without truncation
- Confirm you're not using an old or deleted Client ID
-
Check that you're connecting to the correct Port instance:
- Verify the Port organization/workspace URL
- Ensure you're using credentials from the intended Port account
- Confirm the credentials belong to the same organization being integrated
-
If the Client ID appears correct:
- Try generating new credentials and use the new Client ID
- Contact your Port administrator to verify credential status
PRT-102-B: Client Id not found
This error occurs during sync when the Client ID used for the integration can no longer be found in Port.
This typically happens when:
- The credentials were deleted after the initial connection
- The Port organization structure changed
- The user account associated with the credentials was removed
To resolve this error:
- Check the current status of your credentials in Port
- If the credentials no longer exist, create new ones:
- Go to Port → Settings → Credentials
- Generate new Client ID and Client Secret
- Ensure the creating user has appropriate permissions
- Reconnect the integration in Zluri using the new credentials
