Setting a Dashboard for Overview in Zluri

The Overview Dashboard in Zluri is your personalized landing screen within the SMP (SaaS Management Platform) or IGA (Identity Governance & Administration) modules. It provides a quick snapshot of your key performance indicators (KPIs), insights, and metrics relevant to your role and organization. Access to an Overview Dashboard is dataset-dependent—users must have access to at least one dataset used in the dashboard's charts to view it.

Overview Dashboard

This is the first screen you see when accessing either SMP or IGA. It helps you quickly gauge important metrics without needing to search or filter data.

There are three types of Overview Dashboards in Zluri:

TypeDescription
Personal OverviewA dashboard that you set as your personal landing page (SMP or IGA).
Org OverviewA dashboard set by the dashboard owner as the organization-wide Overview.
Zluri Default OverviewA standard dashboard provided by Zluri when no personal or org-wide Overview is defined.

Setting a Dashboard as Overview

  • Any published dashboard in the user’s list can be set as an Overview.
    • Go to your Dashboard list view.
    • Find the published dashboard you want to set as your Overview.
    • Click the "Set as Overview" button.
    • Choose whether to apply this for IGA, SMP, or both.

  • Dashboards can be set as Overview for:
    • SMP
    • IGA

  • Once set, an Overview cannot be unset, but it can be replaced by selecting another dashboard.
  • Dashboards set as Overview can still be edited, deleted, or moved to draft, including by the user who set it.
  • Draft dashboards cannot be set as Overview.

  • Access to dashboards is dataset-dependent: users must have access to at least one dataset used in the dashboard’s charts.

Key Points to Consider

  • Only Dashboard Owners can set a dashboard as the Org Overview.
  • Dashboards can still be edited, deleted, or have their visibility changed after being set as Overview.
  • You can replace an Overview by selecting another dashboard.
  • You cannot unset an Overview; it must be replaced.
  • Draft dashboards cannot be used as Overviews.
  • Dashboard access is dataset-dependent—users must have access to at least one dataset used in the dashboard’s charts.

Overview Dashboard Resolution Priority

When a user accesses the platform, Zluri determines which Overview Dashboard to display in the following order:

  1. Personal Overview (My Overview)
  2. Org Overview
  3. Zluri Default Overview (fallback)

If the selected Overview is unavailable or inaccessible (e.g., due to dataset restrictions), Zluri will fall back to the next available type.

If You Cannot Access a Dashboard

  • Make sure the dashboard is published (not in draft).
  • Confirm that you have access to at least one dataset used in the dashboard.
  • Contact your admin or the dashboard owner if access seems incorrect.

Permission Required to Access and Make Changes

Access to Overview Dashboards and the ability to set or modify them is determined by:

  • Dashboard ownership (required for Org Overview)
  • Dataset permissions
  • Dashboard status (must be published, not draft)
