Connect

Prerequisites:

Before integrating Smartsheet with Zluri, ensure:

• You have Smartsheet Administrator account access.
• You have (or can generate) Smartsheet API credentials (API Key).

Step 1: Get API Credentials from Smartsheet

To generate your Smartsheet API key:

1. Log in to Smartsheet with admin credentials.
2. Navigate to Account → Apps & Integrations → API Access.
3. Enable the API Integration if it’s not already enabled.
4. Click Generate new access token.
5. Use the Secret key as your API Token.
6. Copy and securely store the new API key for later use.

Step 2: Begin Integration in Zluri

• Go to Zluri and click Connect Integration or Connect another instance.
• This will initiate the Smartsheet connection flow.

Step 3: Review and Add Scopes

• Review the listed Required Scopes.
• (Optional) Add Other Scopes according to your needs.
• Proceed to initiate Self-Authorization or Co-worker Authorization.

💡 Self-Authorization
Continue to Step 4 and enter the credentials yourself.

💡 Co-worker Authorization

• You can send the connection request to a co-worker (who is a Smartsheet admin).
• Provide their details so Zluri can send an invite link or email.
• The co-worker admin will use the Unique Connect Code from the invite to approve and proceed to Step 4.

Step 4: Authorize the Connection

Depending on your authorization type:

• Form-based API connection: Enter the Smartsheet API Token you generated in Step 1.
• Click Connect.
