Application Configuration
Zluri allows administrators to configure application-level metadata that directly impacts how apps are shown in the catalog, who approves access, and what license/role options are available during requests.
These configurations are managed from:
Admin View → Applications
Applications tab displays all discovered applications in your environment, grouped by status—Managed, Unmanaged, Restricted, or Needs Review. From here, admins can:
- Set the application's requestability status
- Assign internal owners for routing and accountability
- Define available licenses and roles for more accurate provisioning
Each of these settings plays a critical role in governing access, automating workflows, and maintaining visibility across your SaaS stack.
Managing App Metadata in the Applications Tab
Admins can manage application-specific metadata that influences visibility in the App Catalog, approval routing, and access request behavior.
All of this can be configured from:
Admin View → Applications → [Select App]
Each application has its own settings across sections like Overview, About, and Access Request Settings.

1. App Status & Type
The app’s status controls whether it is eligible for access request workflows and catalog visibility. To control how the app is categorized within Zluri:
- Click the 3-dot menu next to an app or inside the app view
- Select Edit Application
- Configure the following fields:
- Type – e.g., “Application”
- Status – Active or Inactive
- Owner – The main stakeholder or approver for this app

2. Assigning App Owners (IT / Finance / Primary)
You can assign multiple owner roles from the About tab:
- Primary Owner
- IT Owner
- Finance Owner
These assignments improve visibility, accountability, and approval logic when configuring workflows.
To update owners:
- Go to the About tab of the application
- Then go to Roles & Responsibilities
- Assign users to the available ownership fields

3. Configuring Access Request Roles and Licenses
Zluri allows you to define license types and application roles that employees will choose while submitting a request. By configuring this metadata for each app, you can ensure:
- Employees see accurate request options
- Approvals route to the right owners
- Catalog visibility aligns with access governance policies
To configure:
- Click the 3-dot menu in the app header
- Select Access Request Settings
- Add or update:
- License Options (e.g., Basic, Pro, Enterprise)
- Role Options (e.g., Viewer, Admin, Contributor)
These fields appear in the access request form in the Employee View.
