Troubleshooting
This page contains a list of common errors and known issues encountered while integrating Zeplin with Zluri, and instructions on how to fix them.

ZEP-100-A: The token used to connect the integration is invalid or has been expired. Please ensure that you use the right token to connect the integration
When does this error occur?
- While connecting Zeplin to Zluri with an invalid or expired access token.
How to resolve:
- 
Generate a new access token: - Log into your Zeplin account
- Navigate to Settings → Developer
- Create a new Personal Access Token or OAuth Application
- Copy the new token immediately (it won't be shown again)
 
- 
Verify token permissions: - Ensure the token has sufficient permissions to access your organizations
- Check that the token hasn't been revoked or expired
 
- 
Reconnect the integration: - Use the new token when connecting Zeplin to Zluri
- Follow the connection steps in the integration guide
 
ZEP-100-B: The token used to connect this integration is expired/revoked. Generate a new token and reconnect the integration
When does this error occur?
- During data synchronization when the previously connected token has expired or been revoked.
How to resolve:
- 
Check token status: - Verify if the token is still active in your Zeplin account
- Check if the token was accidentally revoked or expired
 
- 
Generate a new token: - Log into your Zeplin account
- Navigate to Settings → Developer
- Generate a new Personal Access Token
- Ensure the token has the necessary permissions
 
- 
Reconnect the integration: - Use the new token to reconnect Zeplin to Zluri
- Test the connection to ensure it's working properly
 
ZEP-101-A: The user trying to connect the integration does not have sufficient permissions. Modify the user permission and try again
When does this error occur?
- When the user attempting to connect Zeplin to Zluri lacks the necessary permissions to access organization data.
How to resolve:
- 
Check user role: - Ensure you have administrative or owner permissions in your Zeplin organizations
- Verify that your account can access organization settings and member data
 
- 
Update permissions: - Contact your Zeplin organization administrator to grant you the necessary permissions
- Ensure you have at least Editor or Admin role in the organizations you want to sync
 
- 
Alternative solution: - Use a different user account with appropriate administrative privileges
- Consider having an organization owner perform the integration setup
 
After updating permissions, try connecting the integration again.
ZEP-101-B: The permission for the user who connected the integration is modified/revoked. Modify the user permission and reconnect the integration
When does this error occur?
- During data synchronization when the user who originally connected the integration has lost the required permissions.
How to resolve:
- 
Restore user permissions: - Contact your Zeplin organization administrator to restore the necessary permissions
- Ensure the user has Editor or Admin role in all relevant organizations
 
- 
Check account status: - Verify that the user account is still active and hasn't been removed from organizations
- Ensure the account hasn't been downgraded or restricted
 
- 
Reconnect if necessary: - After restoring permissions, test the integration
- If issues persist, reconnect the integration using the same user account or a different user with appropriate privileges
 
ZEP-102-A: The user trying to connect the integration does not have sufficient permissions. Modify the user permission and try again
When does this error occur?
- When the user attempting to connect lacks specific permissions to access organization member data in Zeplin.
How to resolve:
- 
Verify member access permissions: - Ensure your user account can view and access organization members
- Check that you have permissions to read member lists in all organizations
 
- 
Update organization roles: - Contact your Zeplin organization administrator
- Request Admin or Owner permissions to access member data
- Ensure you're a member of all organizations you want to sync
 
- 
Test member access: - Try accessing the "Members" section in your Zeplin organization settings
- Verify you can see the list of organization members
 
After updating permissions, try connecting the integration again.
ZEP-102-B: The permission for the user who connected the integration is modified/revoked. Modify the user permission and reconnect the integration
When does this error occur?
- During data synchronization when the user has lost specific permissions to access organization member data.
How to resolve:
- 
Restore member access permissions: - Contact your Zeplin organization administrator
- Request restoration of permissions to access organization members
- Ensure you maintain Admin or Owner role in relevant organizations
 
- 
Verify organization membership: - Check that you're still a member of all organizations being synced
- Ensure your role hasn't been downgraded to a level that restricts member access
 
- 
Test and reconnect: - Test access to organization member lists in Zeplin
- If issues persist, reconnect the integration with updated permissions
 
ZEP-103-A: The user trying to connect does not have any organization
When does this error occur?
- When attempting to connect Zeplin to Zluri with a user account that is not associated with any Zeplin organizations.
How to resolve:
- 
Join an organization: - Contact your team administrator to be added to a Zeplin organization
- Accept any pending organization invitations in your email or Zeplin notifications
 
- 
Create an organization: - If you need to create a new organization, go to Zeplin and create one
- Ensure you have the necessary permissions in the organization
 
- 
Verify organization access: - Log into Zeplin and confirm you can see at least one organization
- Ensure you have appropriate permissions within the organization
 
After joining or creating an organization, try connecting the integration again.
ZEP-103-B: The user trying to connect does not have any organization
When does this error occur?
- During data synchronization when the user has been removed from all Zeplin organizations.
How to resolve:
- 
Check organization membership: - Verify if you're still a member of the organizations that were previously connected
- Check if you were accidentally removed from organizations
 
- 
Rejoin organizations: - Contact organization administrators to be re-added to the necessary organizations
- Accept any new organization invitations
 
- 
Reconnect the integration: - After rejoining organizations, reconnect the Zeplin integration
- Ensure you have the appropriate permissions in the organizations
 
ZEP-104-A: The user trying to connect the integration does not have sufficient permissions. Modify the user permission and try again
When does this error occur?
- When the user can access organizations but cannot read member information from any of them.
How to resolve:
- 
Check member reading permissions: - Verify that you can access the "Members" section in at least one organization
- Ensure your role allows you to view organization member lists
 
- 
Request elevated permissions: - Contact organization administrators to grant you Admin or Owner permissions
- Ensure you have member management or viewing permissions
 
- 
Verify in multiple organizations: - If you're a member of multiple organizations, ensure you have appropriate permissions in at least one
- Focus on organizations where you have the highest level of access
 
After obtaining the necessary permissions, try connecting the integration again.
ZEP-104-B: The permission for the user who connected the integration is modified/revoked. Modify the user permission and reconnect the integration
When does this error occur?
- During data synchronization when the user has lost permissions to read member information from all organizations.
How to resolve:
- 
Restore member access: - Contact administrators of your Zeplin organizations
- Request restoration of permissions to view organization members
- Ensure you have at least Admin role in one organization
 
- 
Check role changes: - Verify if your role was changed across all organizations
- Ensure you still have access to member management features
 
- 
Test and reconnect: - Try accessing member lists in your Zeplin organizations
- After restoring permissions, test the integration or reconnect if necessary
