GL Code Filtering for NetSuite

When you connect NetSuite, Zluri uses a GL code–based filter to fetch only software and SaaS-related transactions, not your entire general ledger.

How the GL code filter works

During setup, you specify the GL accounts you use for software spend, for example Software Subscriptions or SaaS Licenses. Zluri pulls only the transactions posted to those accounts.

You can update the GL code mappings at any time as your chart of accounts changes, for example when you create a new account for AI tools.

Why Zluri filters by GL code

  • Data privacy: Zluri never fetches non-software financial data, such as payroll, reimbursements, rent, and vendor payments outside the selected GL codes.
  • Accurate spend visibility: SaaS spend in Zluri reflects your actual software costs, without inflation from unrelated expenses.
  • Reliable app discovery: Discovery runs only on genuine software vendors, which avoids false positives from non-software vendors.
  • Efficient syncs: A smaller, relevant data set keeps syncs fast and lightweight.
