Application Usage Score

Zluri scores how much an application is used across your organization, and how much each user uses it. This article explains the factors behind the application usage score and the user usage score, and how Zluri weighs them.

Application usage score

Zluri measures application usage with three factors. Each factor has a weight that sets how much it contributes to the final score.

FactorWhat it measuresExample
Average Volume (AV)The average volume of activity fetched per user per month for the application, such as sign-in logs and activity logs.A user signs in three times a month, with five activities in the activity log. Zluri calculates these counts and assigns a predefined AV score to the result.
Average Activity Days (AD)The average number of days in a month that users are active, from 1 to 31 depending on the month.A user signs in three times a month, with five activities in one day. Zluri calculates the number of days and assigns a predefined AD score to the result.
Percentage of Users (PU)The adoption rate: the percentage of users in the organization who use the application.50 of the organization's 100 users use the application. Zluri calculates the percentage and assigns a predefined PU score to it.

Zluri combines AV, AD, and PU, using the weight of each factor, to generate the final application usage score.

User usage score

Zluri measures user usage with four factors. Each factor has a weight that sets how much it contributes to the final score.

FactorWhat it measuresExample
Monthly Count (MC)The number of activities a user has in a month. If a user has one or more activities, Zluri calculates the activity count and assigns a predefined MC score to it.
Mean of Monthly CountThe average monthly count over the past three months. If a user's average number of activities over the past three months is one or more, Zluri calculates the average and assigns a predefined score to it.
Distinct Days (DD)The number of days activity was received for a user in the past month. If activity was received for a user on one or more days, Zluri calculates the number of days and assigns a predefined DD score to it.
Mean of Distinct DaysThe average number of distinct days over the past three months. If a user's average number of distinct days over the past three months is one or more, Zluri calculates the average and assigns a predefined score to it.

Zluri combines MC, Mean of MC, DD, and Mean of DD, using the weight of each factor, to generate the final user usage score.

Weight distribution

Each factor has a weight, a percentage that sets how much it influences the final score.

Application usage weights

FactorWhat its weight reflects
AVHow important the frequency of application use is.
ADHow significant user activity days on the application are.
PUHow much the organization's adoption rate contributes.

User usage weights

FactorWhat its weight reflects
MCHow important the user's engagement is within a specific timeframe.
Mean of MCHow significant the user's historical engagement is.
DDHow important the consistency of the user's activity is.
Mean of DDHow significant the historical consistency of the user's engagement is.
