Currency Conversion
Zluri asks you to set a default currency during implementation. All spend and cost data in Zluri is represented in this default currency, and any transaction recorded in a different currency is converted automatically.
How conversion works
Zluri uses a trusted API source that combines currency conversion data from multiple banks and the European Central Bank. This source holds 20 years of historical exchange rate data, so past transactions convert accurately, and it updates exchange rates in real time for current transactions.
To convert a transaction, Zluri uses:
- Currency From — the currency the transaction was originally recorded in.
- Currency To — your organization's default currency, set during implementation.
- Date — the transaction date, used to apply the correct exchange rate for that day.
- Amount — the amount to convert.
Both Currency From and Currency To use three-letter ISO currency codes, such as USD, GBP, or INR.
