Connect

This guide provides the steps to connect a Zoho Expense account to Zluri

Prerequisites

  • A Zoho user with the Admin role in the Zoho Expense organization you want to connect.

Step 1: Confirm the Zoho Expense role and data centre

  1. Log in to the Zoho Expense account that will authorise the connection.
  2. Click Admin View on the left sidebar, then open Settings.
  3. Go to Users under Users & Roles and confirm that the authorising user has the Admin role. The Submitter and Approver roles cannot read the organization's user list or all of its expenses, so a connection made with them fails or returns incomplete data.
  4. If the account belongs to several organizations, open the organization name dropdown at the top of the page and select Manage Organizations to list them. The user must be an Admin in each organization listed there.

Step 2: Begin the Integration in Zluri

  1. Log in to the Zluri dashboard.
  2. Open the Zoho Expense Integration page.
  3. Select Connect Integration or Connect another instance if an existing connection is already configured.

Step 3: Review and Add Scopes

  1. Review the required scopes displayed for the integration. The default scopes are read only and cover user discovery and expense transactions: Read Organization Settings , Read Users, Read Expense Reports and Read Org Settings.
  2. Add additional scopes if you plan to run Zluri workflow actions on Zoho Expense: Create User, Update User and Delete Users. Leave them unticked for discovery and spend tracking.

Authorization Options

Self-Authorization

  • Proceed directly to Step 4 to complete authorization.

Co-worker Authorization

  1. Enter a co-worker's details to share the access request.
  2. Zluri sends an invite email or link containing a unique Connect Code.
  3. The co-worker can use the code to approve and complete the connection setup.

Step 4: Authorize the Connection

  1. Depending on the authorization method (self or co-worker), select Connect. Zluri redirects to the Zoho sign-in page.
  2. Sign in with the Zoho user confirmed in Step 1. If the browser is already signed in to a different Zoho account, pick the correct account on Zoho's account chooser.
  3. On the Zoho consent screen, review the requested scopes and select Accept. Complete this within two minutes of reaching the page, because Zoho's authorization code expires after that.
  4. Zoho returns to Zluri, name the connection instance and select Save.

Integration Complete

Zluri is now successfully connected to Zoho Expense and will begin syncing data automatically.
