Troubleshoot
This page lists common errors and known issues encountered while integrating UKG Pro with Zluri, along with steps to resolve them.
UKG-100-A: The Username or Password used to connect this integration is invalid
This error occurs when connecting UKG Pro to Zluri with a username or password that UKG Pro rejects.
To resolve:
-
Check the web service account in UKG Pro
- Go to UKG Pro > Menu > System Configuration > Security > Service Account Administration
- Confirm the account exists and is active
- If the password was lost, open the account and select Reset Password, then copy the new password immediately
-
Verify the credentials
- Use the web service account username, not the email address or an employee login
- Paste the password exactly as generated, with no extra spaces
After confirming the credentials, reconnect the integration in Zluri.
UKG-100-B: The Username or Password used for this integration is expired or revoked
This error occurs when the web service account used to connect UKG Pro to Zluri has been deactivated or its password was reset after the connection was made.
To resolve:
- Go to UKG Pro > Menu > System Configuration > Security > Service Account Administration
- Check that the Zluri web service account is still listed and active
- If the account was removed or its password changed, reset the password or create a new web service account with View on Personnel Integration
- Reconnect the integration in Zluri using the current username and password
UKG-101-A: The user connecting this integration does not have sufficient permissions
This error occurs when connecting UKG Pro to Zluri with a web service account that is missing the required web service permission.
To resolve:
- Go to UKG Pro > Menu > System Configuration > Security > Service Account Administration
- Open the web service account used for Zluri
- Under Web Services, confirm that View is selected for Personnel Integration
- If the error persists, also select View for Employee Person Details
- Select Save
After updating the permissions, reconnect the integration in Zluri.
UKG-101-B: The permission for the user who connected the integration is modified or revoked
This error occurs when the web service account's permissions were changed in UKG Pro after the integration was connected.
To resolve:
- Go to UKG Pro > Menu > System Configuration > Security > Service Account Administration
- Open the web service account used for Zluri
- Restore View on Personnel Integration (and Employee Person Details if it was previously granted)
- Reconnect the integration in Zluri
UKG-102-A: The URL used to connect this integration is invalid
This error occurs when the service endpoint entered in Zluri does not reach a UKG Pro API host. Common causes are a path after the host, a SOAP /services/ URL, a missing https://, or the tenant's web login URL instead of the API host.
To resolve:
- Go to UKG Pro > Menu > System Configuration > Security > Web Services
- Find any REST endpoint and copy only the scheme and host, for example
https://service5.ultipro.com - In Zluri, enter that value in the Service Endpoint field with no trailing path
After correcting the endpoint, reconnect the integration in Zluri.
UKG-102-B: The URL used to connect this integration is invalid
Zluri checks the Service Endpoint again at the start of every sync. This error occurs when that check cannot reach the UKG Pro host that worked when the integration was connected. Common causes are a host that no longer resolves or does not respond, or a UKG Pro outage at the moment the sync started.
To resolve:
- Go to UKG Pro > Menu > System Configuration > Security > Web Services and compare the base URL shown there with the Service Endpoint saved in Zluri
- If the two differ, reconnect the integration in Zluri with the current base URL, keeping only the scheme and host, for example
https://service5.ultipro.com - If the two match, UKG Pro most likely did not respond when the sync started. Reconnect the integration in Zluri to run the check again. If it fails again, confirm the API host for your tenant with UKG support.
UKG-103-A: The API Key used to connect this integration is invalid
This error occurs when the API key entered in Zluri is not the tenant's Customer API Key. Entering the web service account's User API Key is the most common cause.
To resolve:
- Go to UKG Pro > Menu > System Configuration > Security > Service Account Administration
- Copy the Customer API Key shown at the top of the page
- In Zluri, paste it into the API Key field exactly as shown, with no extra characters
After entering the Customer API Key, reconnect the integration in Zluri.
UKG-103-B: The API Key used to connect this integration is expired or revoked
This error occurs when the Customer API Key was regenerated in UKG Pro after the integration was connected.
To resolve:
- Go to UKG Pro > Menu > System Configuration > Security > Service Account Administration
- Copy the current Customer API Key
- Reconnect the integration in Zluri with the new key
